Lerner and Rowe, a proud supporter of our community, was thrilled to sponsor the 2024 Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Runnin’ for the House 5K Run & Family Fun Walk in Las Vegas. The Ronald McDonald House provides a vital service to families with sick children, offering a warm and welcoming place to stay near the hospital while their child receives treatment.

For many Lerner and Rowe employees, the cause hits close to home.  “I am so grateful to Lerner and Rowe for giving us an opportunity to give back to our community and especially for getting to participate in this walk,” shared one employee. “The Ronald McDonald House is important to my own family, but also to several of our friends who have relied on them during their children’s illnesses. It was wonderful to be able to give back to them in this small gesture.”

The entire Lerner and Rowe team is proud to have played a part in supporting this important organization and the families it serves.

We’re excited to share our continued support for the Phoenix Kidney Walk! For over six years, we’ve been a proud sponsor of this impactful event. The Walk not only raises critical funds for kidney research and patient services but also unites the community in showing patients they’re not alone.

This year was especially rewarding. On April 14th, we had the honor of being the official sponsor for the 2024 Rubber Duck Scavenger Hunt, adding a fun element to the Walk.

Additionally, we were thrilled to learn that the Phoenix Kidney Walk raised over $85,300! 

These funds will make a significant difference as more than 80 cents of every dollar brought in goes directly towards supporting vital initiatives, including:

• Research for advancements in kidney disease treatment and prevention
• Patient services to improve quality of life
• Professional education for healthcare providers
• Public health education programs
• Community services

Beach Ball, a one-of-a-kind experience trading tuxedos and ball gowns for resort wear, is a vital source of funding for Phoenix Children’s. Beach Ball 2024 swept guests away for a night in Ibiza at the Arizona Biltmore on March 23rd.

Lerner & Rowe Gives Back attendees enjoyed a front row seat to entertainment from DJ James Kennedy and DJ Pauly D, curated cuisine and signature cocktails in an immersive experience to raise $1.2 million for the foundation.

Lerner & Rowe Gives Back supported the awe-inspiring drone show and had a blast supporting our 2024 nonprofit partner.

For a second year, Lerner & Rowe Gives Back is partnering with the Multi Agency Academic Cooperative (MAAC) Foundation as a Silver Sponsor. 

Through their top-notch facilities, the MAAC Foundation offers a variety of life-saving training and services to EMS, firefighters, and police officers. In turn, our first responders are equipped with knowledge and training to better serve our communities. 

Without the MAAC, many of these first responders would go without these vital services. It’s an honor to support those who serve our community.

We are excited to announce that our very own Kevin Rowe of Lerner & Rowe Gives Back has been chosen as a finalist for the 2024 Champions of Change nonprofit leader grant sponsored by BOK Financial.

Az Business magazine will celebrate all Champions of Change finalists and winners at a luncheon on May 16, 2024 at DoubleTree by Hilton Paradise Valley – Scottsdale. Winners of the BOK Financial grants will also be awarded during the luncheon.

Lerner & Rowe Proudly Partners with Opportunity Enterprises for Second Year

Our Lerner & Rowe team is once again honored to have volunteered with Opportunity Enterprises (OE) in support of their annual “Night to Shine” event. For a second consecutive year, our team members had the privilege of assisting clients with preparations for this prom-like celebration.

OE provides invaluable services to individuals with developmental disabilities, and Night to Shine offers a truly special opportunity for clients to experience an evening filled with joy, friendship, and self-expression. Our team members were deeply moved by the positive atmosphere and the transformative impact of the event.

This year, the Lerner & Rowe team proudly served as part of the “glam squad,” assisting clients with makeup application to help create a memorable experience for each individual. We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this meaningful event and hope everyone enjoyed their Night to Shine!

Lerner & Rowe Gives Back: Making a Difference for Children Healing from Abuse

Lerner & Rowe Gives Back is honored to announce that our team received the “Friend of the Friends” award from the Southwest Family Advocacy Center on Friday, February 9, 2024. 

This recognition acknowledges our 2023 grant, which funded the construction of a new teen room at the Center, providing a safe and supportive space for children healing from domestic and sexual abuse.

This project was a partnership with Put on the Cape Foundation and the city police departments.
