2014 Code Red – Heat Relief Campaign

Lerner and Rowe Gives Back is once again partnering with the Phoenix Rescue Mission to collect cases of bottled water for the mission’s “Code Red: Heat Relief Campaign.” For 2014, Lerner and Rowe Gives Back has agreed to match all water donations made through August 31, 2014!

Help make a difference in the lives of homeless individuals and elderly shut-ins by dropping off cases of bottled water at one of the following Lerner and Rowe law office locations Monday – Friday, from 8 am to 4 pm :

Code Red – Heat Relief 2013 Fast Facts:

Each year nearly 800 people are admitted to Arizona hospitals due to heat related illnesses.  Last year alone there were 109 heat-related deaths in Arizona.

Phoenix Rescue Mission’s “Code Red – Heat Relief Campaign” works to off-set these numbers by providing much needed assistance to people in need through life-saving water and other heat relief efforts.

With the help of  businesses, individuals, and churches the mission’s heat-relief campaign was able to:

  • Deliver over $1 million in life-saving assistance.
  • Donate over 425,000 bottles of water.
  • Contribute over $600,000 in financial gifts.

Lerner and Rowe Sponsor Bullhead City Bike Rally

3rd Annual Bullhead City Bike RallyLerner and Rowe is the title sponsor for the Bullhead Area Chamber of Commerce’s 3rd Annual Bullhead City Bike Rally, April 24-26. The event will take place at Community Park and will be open to the public daily from 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.  All money raised will be put back into the community to support local tourism, Chamber programs, and Chamber Building improvements.

Bike Rally Activities

The Bullhead City Bike Rally will offer a variety of entertainment, activities, and food options, to include:

  • Music
  • Car and bike show
  • Extreme recreation toy show
  • Boys & Girls Club poker run
  • Vendor booths
  • Food court
  • Beer/wine garden

Adults attending the event may also purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win $1000 cash and other prize giveaways. Raffle tickets can be purchased at the Bullhead Area Chamber Visitors Center, Mission Bank, or Cathie’z Leather for $5 each or 5 for $20. Safety Reminder from Phoenix Motorcycle Accident Attorneys

In 2012, there were 2,540 motorcycle accident injuries reported by the Arizona Department of Transportation.

The Pahrump Easter Egg Hunt is divided by age groups and will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. Prizes will be awarded at the end of each hunt.Starts times for each hunt are:

  • 10:30 a.m. (6 to 10 years old)
  • 11:00 a.m. (11 years and up)

Pahrump Easter Picnic

Starting at 11:00 a.m. families are invited to enjoy free food while supplies last, to include: hamburgers, hot dogs, ice cream, popcorn, cotton candy, and kettle corn.

Lerner and Rowe Gives Back announce their support of Arizona Blind & Deaf Children’s Foundation’s annual Swing for Success fundraiser golf tournament Friday, April 18, at Arizona Grand Golf Resort.

The 12th annual Swing for Success golf fundraiser to benefit the Arizona Blind & Deaf Children’s Foundation will be held Friday, April 18, at Arizona Grand Golf Resort in Phoenix.

Proceeds raised from the event will be paid forward to schools and non-profits that provide supportive programming and services to assist blind and death children throughout Arizona.

Lerner and Rowe Gives Back team members are volunteering at the Swing for Success fundraiser to help make the event a success and to maintain a high enjoyment factor for event participants who live with or without a physical disability.

3rd Annual Bonner Run for Education Sponsors

Lerner and Rowe Injury Attorneys proudly announce the 3rd Annual Bonner Run for Education sponsors will be held Saturday, March 8, at 765 Crestdale Lane, in West Las Vegas. 100% of donations and proceeds raised from the run/walk and community fair will go directly back to the K-5 grade school.

Public schools are getting creative to help keep their classroom sizes small due to recent budget cuts. Three years ago John W. Bonner created a fun run/walk and community fair to help raise additional funds for their elementary school. This year Lerner and Rowe Injury Attorneys is pleased to join their efforts to offset these expenses by donating $1,500 and actively participating in their annual Run for Education.

Lerner and Rowe Gives Back joins community organizations and thousands of walkers, runners, and participants in support of the 2014 Honor Walk and 5K Team Run at the U.S. Airways Center in downtown Phoenix, February 23.

Once a year Honor Walk Foundation, LLC, organizes the Honor Walk as a means to “honor” and support more than 670,000 Arizona Veterans who have served in our nation’s military. Through their philanthropic efforts and partnerships, the foundation offers professional networking, mentoring, and career services to previous military members who are transitioning back into civilian life.

MANA House and Bootstrap USA are two non-profit organizations that were carefully chosen to receive 30% of proceeds raised from the 2014 Honor Walk.  MANA House provides transitional housing for veterans and Bootstrap USA assists veterans dealing with combat stress.

Registration opens at 6:30 a.m. the morning of the walk, with opening entertainment and activities planned prior to the 9:00 a.m. start time.  Participants are invited to arrive early for the veteran recognition ceremony featuring guest speakers, aircraft fly-overs, music, memorial exhibit, and so much more.
