Our Lerner and Rowe Gives Back team participated in UMC Children’s Hospital’s Halloween Safe-Tacular that was presented in partnership with Kohl’s Cares. The contactless drive-through event was staged in the Bronze Parking Lot at the Las Vegas Convention Center on Oct. 24 from 10:00 a.m. to noon.
In addition to providing the community with a festive Halloween event, Safe-Tacular supports the hospital’s mission to reduce the number and severity of pedestrian injuries among children in Southern Nevada.
“It is always a privilege to support incredible community partners like UMC Children’s Hospital and Clark County School District Police, who hosted the event. Lerner and Rowe Gives Back was formed to give back in the neighborhood’s where our clients live. It is even more special to be able to bring smiles to over a thousand children’s faces.”–Glen Lerner
Cars Full of Costumed Kids
Over 400 cars filled with costumed children, parents, and some dogs, drove past tables and pop ups that were decorated and filled with costumed volunteers. There was a steady stream of cars for well over four hours.
During the event children received free goodie bags with treats, pedestrian safety gear, and valuable safety information.
