Our Las Vegas Lerner and Rowe Gives Back team spent the past two days at the Sports Leadership and Management Academy of Nevada (SLAM Nevada), where high school seniors were given the opportunity to experience how quickly a disaster can happen if they drive distracted. It was an educational two days for the seniors to see just how the slightest distraction could end up in a disaster.
“Car accidents happen every day because another driver was too busy on their phone to pay attention to what was going on around them. That’s why our outreach team is putting on distracted driving seminars in Las Vegas high schools. We want to show young drivers how simple distractions can lead to serious consequences.” —Glen Lerner
