To honor fallen firefighters and support their family members and East Valley Firefighter charities, we have joined other community organizations and individuals in sponsoring the 2nd Annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb presented by Salt River Firefighters IAFF Local 2260, the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation and Salt River Fields at Talking Stick.
Opening ceremonies begin at 8 a.m. Climb takes place from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. During the five hour tribute, up to 343 participants will carry a small photo of one of the first responders killed on 9/11/2001 at the World Trade Center as they climb or walk the equivalent of the 110 stories of the World Trade Center.
Giving Back to Honor and Support
Our sponsorship will be used to offset event operating expenses so that funds donated will directly benefit the families of the fallen and other community charities.
