Is the Arizona Animal Welfare League and SPCA a no-kill shelter?

Founded in 1971, the Arizona Animal Welfare League and SPCA is the state’s oldest and largest no-kill shelter. The shelter facilities provide a temporary home for nearly 2,600 dogs and cats every year, offering medical and behavioral treatment for those in need.

The mission of the Arizona Animal Welfare League and SPCA is to end the unnecessary euthanasia of dogs and cats. Their priority is to take in adoptable animals from other shelters where they might be euthanized and to care for them until each is adopted into a loving, lifetime home. The animals and shelter staff are thankful for each generous, tax-deductible gift they receive.
